Hello, this is Michael Glass from MoveUpWithMike.com with today’s One Minute Inspiration.
Over time, we all develop a set of habits, some good and some bad. Bad habits often start small, but often end up building huge barriers around your mind. They trap you into a comfort zone. It is this comfort zone that often blocks you from your true potential. As long as you let these habits control your consciousness, you’ll be stuck in a rut. It’s time to pin down the bad habits that have become unconscious and are running your life for you.
What’s holding you back from breaking out of your comfort zone?
Fear of Taking Risks?
Fear of the Unknown?
Fear of what others might say?
Benjamin Franklin once said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.”
Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, professionals built the Titanic.

I have often heard it said that you learn a lot about a person’s true color in times of conflict. How someone weather’s a storm most clearly demonstrates their core beliefs. When your competition scores big against you, when the money dries up, or when the glamour of success wears off this is when it is easiest to compromise your core beliefs. In other words, Commitment in times of conflict demonstrate your true character.
Many successful business people are often hailed as visionary leaders. However, upon careful inspection, we find that the commitment of those individuals to their core beliefs, led to their success.
Are you committed to your success? Do you believe you can be successful? Will your character stand up to the test of time.
Zig Ziglar once said, “It was character that got us out of bed, commitment that moved us into action, and discipline that enabled us to follow through.”

One major misconception that many people have about successful people is that they do not make mistakes or they never fail. When in fact, success often comes to many people after they have failed. There is no substitution for hard work. In fact, you must be first willing to fail, in order to achieve success.
Phillip Adams once said “Unless you’re willing to have a go, fail miserably, and have another go, success won’t happen.” You see the road to success will probably be full of rejection, pain, hard work, and disappointment. But with a little more persistence, a little more effort, and what once seemed as hopeless may now turn in to success.
